6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, who missed Friday's clash against Atlanta with an ankle problem, scored 26 points in his return to the court on Sunday against the Knicks. It wasn't a good performance from the field with a 9-for-24 record, but Embiid was busy on the line, shooting 8-for-12. He made up for his poor shooting with some great defensive work, registering six blocks. Sadly, Embiid couldn't grab a double-double, finishing with eight rebounds. Things should go better on Tuesday when the Sixers host Minnesota. Karl-Anthony Towns isn't a good defender and it's unlikely that he manages to stop Embiid from feasting.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
