Joel Embiid Leads Team In Scoring On Wednesday
3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid finished with 17 points during the postseason meeting against Miami. Embiid led the team in scoring despite being bothered by the orbital fracture that kept him out the first two games of the series. At one point, he took a nasty shot from Dewayne Dedmon and hit the floor in obvious pain. However, the 28-year-old would return, although his effort on the offensive end wasn't enough to keep the Heat from securing the win. Nonetheless, it's safe to say many DFS managers were disappointed with Embiid's performance, especially considering his hefty rostering cost. As a result, he'll likely see a drop in popularity ahead of Game 6 on Thursday. Yet, he has an excellent chance of hitting value (and beyond) on his home turf.
