2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee), listed as questionable, plans to play in Thursday's game against the Pistons. Embiid generally sits out one-half of the 76ers' back-to-backs when dealing with an injury but reportedly appears likely to tough this one out against a bad Pistons team. Perhaps it speaks to his knee feeling better, which would be good news for fantasy managers, who could get a more aggressive version of the star center against a Detroit team that has struggled against opposing centers in the paint. Backup Andre Drummond would see less usage if Embiid is active.--Tim Capurso
