3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid continued his march toward the MVP Award during Sunday's loss to the Suns, producing a gargantuan stat line of 37 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. Embiid, who has scored in double figures every game that he has appeared this year, has amassed 39 double-doubles, while sitting second in the league in scoring at 29.9 PPG. The arrival of James Harden has done little to quell Embiid's enormous production, with another tantalizing matchup on the horizon: the 28-year-old next faces Milwaukee on Tuesday, against whom he compiled 42 points and 14 rebounds on Feb. 17.--Jesse Borek
