4 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid played only 23 minutes in Monday's blowout loss to Atlanta, but it was enough to register his seventh double-double of the season with 24 points and 11 rebounds. He shot 8-for-17 from the field and 7-for-8 at the line, before Sixers head coach Doc Rivers pulled the plug and let the game go. The Sixers are playing with a really thin squad at the moment, which puts Embiid in a great spot to perform, but he himself is carrying a back problem that could lead to him sitting out Tuesday's contest against Miami.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
