7 years agoPhiladelphia Sixers center Joel Embiid (hand) has been ruled out ahead of Wednesday night's contest against the San Antonio Spurs. Embiid was considered "very doubtful" coming into the game, so the absence comes as no surprise. X-rays came back negative on Embiid's injured shooting hand, but he appears to still have discomfort and will get another day of rest. In his absence, Amir Johnson will likely enter the starting lineup. However, Richaun Holmes is the better option for fantasy and DFS lineups.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
