4 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (back) was a late scratch Sunday ahead of their contest against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Embiid was originally slated to play the second half of a back-to-back, a welcome sight for fantasy managers, but was ruled out just before gametime. This will likely be a common trend in the shorter season, but would be a huge boost to his value if Embiid can play both sets of back-to-backs. Nevertheless, Embiid's absence will thrust Dwight Howard into the starting lineup against Andre Drummond. Howard is a decent flier in DFS given his rebounding and defense, but could struggle against Drummond.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
