6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid kept his dominant run going during Saturday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks, racking up his 16th consecutive double-double with 27 points and 12 rebounds to his credit. Embiid attempted just 11 shots in the loss, his fewest in an outing since Nov. 4. He did get to the free-throw line frequently, where he finished 11-for-14, while also adding a pair of assists to his stat line. He next faces the Orlando Magic on Monday, whom he recorded a triple-double against in his last meeting with the squad, Nov. 14.--Jesse Borek
