6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid recorded a full line on Christmas Day that included 34 points with 16 rebounds, but it was not enough as his club picked up the overtime loss. Embiid knocked down 10 of 17 shots while hitting all 12 of his shots from the line and added two triples with two assists and two blocks, but he did cough the ball up six times. It was nice seeing the big man knock down a couple makes from three, after hitting just one of his last 13 attempts as he mentioned he did not like shooting them. Embiid has been a force this season and will continue to pour in top-10 numbers in all formats going forward.--Gianni Costantiello
