3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (thumb, face, concussion) was cleared to suit up for the postseason matchup versus Miami on Friday. The big man hasn't played during this series after sustaining an orbital fracture and concussion during the first round. However, Embiid seemingly didn't miss a beat, accumulating a double-double via 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Sixers to a much-needed win. The protective face covering didn't appear to impact his vision much either, as he went 5-for-12 from the field and 8-for-10 from the charity stripe. Nonetheless, the 28-year-old is still dealing with a torn thumb ligament on his shooting hand.
