5 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid dominated to the tune of a 31-point effort in Wednesday’s Christmas Day win over the Milwaukee Bucks, needing just 28 minutes to compile an all-around impressive double-double. Embiid finished 11-for-21 from the field, knocking down at least three triples in a contest for only the fourth time all year. He packed the remainder of his stat sheet with 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks. The All-Star big man has dominated over his past eight games, averaging 26.4 points and 12.8 rebounds in that span. He next draws a stingy matchup versus Orlando on Friday, although he recorded double-doubles in all three meetings between the two squads last season.--Jesse Borek
