3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (rest) won't play in Monday's preseason matchup in Toronto. It's hardly surprising, mainly since he suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee during the team's postseason matchup against the Washington Wizards only a few months ago. Fortunately, Embiid didn't need surgery, but logically, holding him out for a meaningless exhibition makes sense. In his stead, Andre Drummond will get some action against the Raptors as a member of the starting unit.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
