6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is listed as questionable to suit up for Friday’s contest versus the Denver Nuggets due to an illness. In the wake of the team’s Trade Deadline deals, it’s not immediately clear who would fill in at the center spot should Embiid sit out, but Amir Johnson would be a likely candidate should Boban Marjanovic not yet be available following his acquisition. Embiid has been scorching hot of late, having accrued six consecutive double-doubles, all of which have seen him record 26 or more points.
