6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid scored 27 points and he did it by connecting on 10 of 15 shots to help secure the win over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday. Embiid also hauled in 11 rebounds with a single assist to go along with a block and a steal in 31 minutes of action. Embiid took full advantage with Jonas Valanciunas (finger) and Serge Ibaka (knee) both sidelined and dominated throughout the first half when he recorded 23 points. Embiid will look to continue to do damage on Christmas day when his club takes on the Celtics who should have Al Horford (knee) back in uniform.--Gianni Costantiello
