4 years agoSan Francisco Giants top catching prospects Joey Bart and Patrick Bailey have both been getting playing time at first base lately according to manager Gabe Kapler. Both catchers are currently with the Giants' alternate team in Sacramento. Bart played first base in the first inning of the alternate team's scrimmage yesterday. It's an interesting development for both players that could speed up their path to the majors.
