3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Joey Gallo and first baseman Anthony Rizzo are not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles. Tim Locastro is starting in left field and hitting ninth against Orioles left-hander Bruce Zimmermann, while DJ LeMahieu moves to first base and is hitting fifth. Gleyber Torres is at second base and is batting sixth. Gallo is off to a slow start in his first full season with the Yankees and is still searching for his first long ball and RBI after going 4-for-28 with no extra-base hits and 11 strikeouts in his first nine games. Rizzo will get his first day off of the year after going 7-for-32 with three home runs and eight RBI in his first 41 plate appearances in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
