6 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo (wrist) hit a grand slam off Royals starter Danny Duffy that would be the difference in the Rangers 6-2 victory on Friday. He is now hitting .272 on the year with 16 home runs, 39 RBI and a 1.048 OPS. He's increased his walk rate from 12.8 percent in 2018 to 19.7 percent this year, which is a great sign. However, his increase in HR/FB from 27.6 percent in 2018 to 41.7 percent this year, plus the fact that he's a career .213 hitter, might hint that there's some regression coming. He's been so good that it makes sense to keep riding the wave, but if you can find someone who will pay a top-20/top-25 hitter price for him, you may want to jump on it.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
