6 years agoTexas Rangers first baseman/outfielder Joey Gallo is receiving a day off Monday. Gallo has gone 4-for-33 with 20 strikeouts against left-handed pitchers in the last month. So far this season, Gallo has a .198 batting average with 15 home runs and 78 strikeouts in 218 plate appearances. Ryan Rua will take Gallo's spot in the outfield and will hit sixth. However, Rua has not been setting the major league on fire in 2018. Through 90 PAs, Rua has a .155 batting average with two HRs and three steals. Rua is a hitter to avoid in all formats on Monday.--Ben Rolfe
