6 years agoTexas Rangers infielder/outfielder Joey Gallo will receive a day off Tuesday. Gallo is the odd man out as the Rangers try to keep Jurickson Profar, Adrian Beltre and Shin-Soo Choo in their lineup. Gallo has not been having a great season, but against right-handed pitchers he has at least been palatable, so it is a surprise to see him sitting. His stats for this season against righties are a .212 batting average, 13 home runs, a .261 ISO and a .333 wOBA. Until the Rangers move someone or Profar/Choo cool off, this is how we expect the Rangers to progress moving forward, with Gallo playing two of out every three games.--Ben Rolfe
