6 years agoAtlanta Hawks power forward /center John Collins scored a season-high 35 points as he made 14 of 16 shots from the field, which included all four of his three-point attempts as well as all three of his free throws in Wednesday's victory over the Bulls. The second-year pro added eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in 29 minutes. It was his highest output of the season and the third time this season that he has topped the 30-point mark this season. He has now made at least 70 percent of his shots in three of the last four outings and is shooting nearly 62 percent from the floor and 58 percent from the three-point line this month. The 21-year-old is averaging 20.5 points along with 10 rebounds a contest in January. Collins will look to score in double figures for the 24th straight game against the Trail Blazers on Saturday.--Daniel Benjamin
