John Collins Impresses With 15-Point, 15-Rebound Showing

4 years agoAtlanta Hawks power forward/center John Collins played just 28 minutes during Friday’s loss to the Washington Wizards, but he took advantage of his time on the floor to collect 15 points and 15 rebounds, marking his fifth double-double of the season. In addition to his work on the glass, Collins also tied his season high with four blocked shots, now giving him an average of 2.2 swats on a nightly basis. Atlanta’s current starting five has Collins seeing significant run at the center slot, which bodes well for his rebounding numbers heading into Sunday’s meeting with the up-tempo Nets, which should give him ample consideration in DFS as a high upside play.--Jesse Borek
