6 years agoAtlanta Hawks power forward/center John Collins went for a season-high 24 points during Monday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors. He delivered his third double-double of the season, adding 11 rebounds while going 11-for-14 from the floor overall. Owners who either waited on Collins’ return or snatched him off the waiver wire are looking prescient at the moment, as he has averaged 15.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game through his first nine contests. His role as an integral part of the Atlanta offense will likely only increase moving forward.--Jesse Borek
