5 years agoAtlanta Hawks power forward/center John Collins posted arguably the best statistical line of his career during Saturday’s win over the Dallas Mavericks, finishing with 35 points and 17 rebounds, getting back into the double-double column after a three-game cold spell. Collins shot 13-for-18 from the floor overall, knocking down all three triples that he attempted. His 37-minute showing had a knot tied around it with two assists and two blocks, as Collins’ 35-point outing sets a season high and ties his career high. He next faces a stout Philadelphia defensive frontcourt that he snagged a season-best 20 rebounds against in the most recent between the two squads.--Jesse Borek
