John Collins Tops 20-Point Mark For 10th Time Since Beginning Of December
6 years agoAtlanta Hawks power forward/center John Collins scored 21 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the field, including 4-for-5 from beyond the arc, in Wednesday's loss to the Wizards. The 6-foot-10 big man grabbed eight rebounds, doled out three assists and committed two turnovers in 27 minutes. While he didn't extend his double-double streak to seven straight games, the 21-year-old did have a pretty decent outing as he continued his streak of scoring in double-figures to 14 consecutive games and has now shot at least 50 percent from the floor in six of his last eight contests. Collins will look to top the 20-point mark for the 11th time since the beginning of December in a tough matchup against the Bucks. Milwaukee is holding opposing power forwards to the 10th fewest points and the fourth worst shooting percentage in the league,
