6 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman John Hicks will take a seat Saturday against the Indians. Hicks has had a pretty average season by typical fantasy standards thus far. However, his catcher eligibility is what gives him sneaky value. Hicks does not hurt your batting average or on-base percentage and has been finding consistent play time in Detroit since Miguel Cabrera was ruled out for the season. Niko Goodrum will start in Hicks' place at first base Saturday. Expect Hicks to be back in the lineup on Sunday.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
