4 years agoHouston Rockets point guard John Wall (knee) and small forward Danuel House Jr. (back) have both been ruled out ahead of Saturday's contest versus the Spurs. The absence of both men left the Houston backcourt fraughtfully thin Thursday, allowing Sterling Brown, David Nwaba and Jae'sean Tate to exceed the 30-minute plateau and put together impressive showings. For Wall, it'll mark his second straight game on the sidelines due to a sore left knee, while House's absence is now up to seven contests. It's unclear when Houston can get their entire squad back healthy, but the next chance that Wall/House will have to take the floor comes Monday against Chicago.--Jesse Borek
