4 years agoHouston Rockets point guard John Wall ended an eight-game double-double drought on Friday with 27 points and 13 assists in a 109-104 loss to the Clippers. He also picked up three rebounds, two blocks and one steal while shooting 9-for-22 from the field and 8-for-9 at the foul line. Wall had a rough night with the three-ball, finishing 1-for-7 from behind the arc. The Rockets play again on Saturday and it's already confirmed that Wall will sit out the road contest against Denver. He should be back on Tuesday against Minnesota in a very favorable matchup. The Timberwolves are allowing the most points per 48 minutes to opposing point guards this season. Wall's shot hasn't dropped very well in the matchup this season, but he has posted double-doubles in both of his outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
