John Wall Posts 30 Points For Second Straight Game
7 years agoA couple days removed from a season-high 34-point game, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall dazzled again in Friday night's win against the Orlando Magic. Wall scored 30 points on 13-for-21 shooting to go along with nine assists, three rebounds, three blocks and a steal in 36 minutes. Wall has finally looked like the John Wall of last season in his past six games, averaging 25.3 points, 10.5 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.8 blocks over that span. These performances have ranked Wall 11th on ESPN's Player Rater over the past 15 days. Wall has been more of a top-20 player this season than the top-10 player most people drafted him as. However, owners that held Wall through the injuries and poor shooting earlier have reaped the benefits of having an elite-caliber fantasy player. Wall is poised to have another breakout game Saturday against the lowly Brooklyn Nets and their fast-pace style of play.
