John Wall Posts Efficient Double-Double
6 years agoWashington Wizards point guard John Wall scored a game-high 25 points on 9-for-15 shooting and 2-for-3 from beyond the arc in Monday's victory over the Magic. He added 10 assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block in 33 minutes. The game marked the 28-year-old's third double-double in the last four contests, and his game score of 24.4 is a season best. Wall also posted a 5-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio, which is the 6-foot-4 lead guard's second best mark of the campaign. The nine-year veteran looks to top the 20-point plateau for the seventh time in 10 games against a Cavs squad that is allowing the fifth most points and the highest shooting percentage to opposing point guards this year.
