John Wall Pours In Season High 30 Points
6 years agoWashington Wizards point guard John Wall scored 10 of his season-high 30 points during the Wiz's big fourth quarter in their come-from-behind victory over the Clippers on Tuesday night. The 28-year-old was 9-for-24 from the field, 5-for-12 from beyond the arc and 7-for-10 from the charity stripe. He added eight assists, four rebounds, two blocks as well as two assists in 41 minutes. It game marked the fourth time in the last eight games that he has been on the floor for 40 or more minutes. His 24 shot attempts and 12 tries from beyond the arc were also a season high. Wall, who is shooting a career-low 68.6 percent from the foul line, will look to extend his streak of at least one triple to seven straight games against the Raptors on Friday. The ninth-year pro tallied 26 points, six assists, four rebounds, four blocks, and a steal the first time the teams met this season.
