4 years agoHouston Rockets point guard John Wall (knee) will be absent from Thursday's contest versus the Spurs due to a sore left knee. Houston's lineup was set to look vastly different in the wake of the James Harden trade, although without Wall in the backcourt as well, the team could be massively short-handed if Eric Gordon (leg) is ruled out as well. Ben McLemore and David Nwaba are the likeliest candidates to take on extended roles if Victor Oladipo is not yet available to join the team. Fantasy managers will want to check back Thursday to get a better read on the Rockets' situation, but the next chance that Wall will have at returning to action comes Saturday when the two teams wrap up a two-game set.--Jesse Borek
