John Wall Ties Season High With Nine Assists In Loss
6 years agoWashington Wizards point guard John Wall had 19 points, nine assists along with two rebounds in Friday's loss to the Thunder. He was 8-for-13 from the field and 2-for-5 from beyond the arc. It is the second consecutive game that Wall has shot over 60 percent from the field, but only the second time that he had made multiple threes in a contest this year. While the 28-year-old has been extremely efficient shooting the ball over the last two games, a couple of troubling trends have popped up. The first issue is turnovers -- he has a 1:1 assist-to-turnover ratio (16 assists, 16 turnovers) during these past two games -- while the second issue is his failure to get to the foul line, attempting just two free throws during this time frame. Wall will look to continue his hot shooting while improving his efficiency versus the Knicks on Sunday.
