John Wall Will Miss Wednesday’s Contest
4 years agoHouston Rockets point guard John Wall (Achilles) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus Oklahoma City due to injury management as he works his way back from a torn Achilles tendon. Wall has played in each of the Rockets' past five contests, but has averaged just 24.5 minutes per night, a significant step down from where he sat to begin the season. Wall missed time during January due to knee issues, with the Achilles injury seemingly popping up again. Without Wall in the mix, Victor Oladipo figures to take on increased ball-handling duties, elevating his DFS ceiling. With the Rockets playing a back-to-back, it's possible the team is just playing it safe to make sure that Wall is set to suit up Thursday against the Grizzlies.
