Jon Rahm Misses Second Straight U.S. Open Cut
7 years agoJust like his first U.S. Open start a year ago, Jon Rahm missed the cut at Shinnecock Hills. Rahm never got anything going, opening with an eight-over 78 and followed that up with a seven-over 77, missing the cut by seven shots. While Rahm has taken a major leap in 2018, his game seems ill-suited for the demands of a U.S. Open. Rahm will now play a stretch on the European Tour, starting with the Open de France at the end of the month, then the Irish Open before the year's third major, the Open Championship at Carnoustie. Rahm should fare much better in each tournament.
