6 years agoJon Rahm has had mixed results in his previous two U.S. Open appearances. In his first start in 2016 at Oakmont, he finished tied for 23rd. In his second try at Erin Hills in 2017, he missed the cut. He has a real chance to better both of those finishes this year, though, as his form has been excellent. Coming off a T5 finish at Colonial two weeks ago, Rahm has been instilled as the eighth betting favorite to win at Shinnecock Hills. He'll be a popular pick and has a good chance to take home his first major championship.--cmangano
