3 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas enjoyed a field day on the glass during Sunday's defeat to the Suns. Valanciunas grabbed a staggering 25 rebounds in total, tying his career high. The last time that Valanciunas pulled down that many boards came Feb. 28, 2020, while the 13 offensive rebounds that he secured set a new career best for the regular season or playoffs. Many of those boards came on the back of his own misses, as he finished 7-for-21 from the floor during his double-double, which saw him finish with 18 points. It's hard to imagine that the Pelicans out-rebound the Suns by 20 boards in Game 2, but it's clear that the 29-year-old is having his way on the interior.--Jesse Borek
