5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas had his best offensive outing of the season to date during Monday’s win over the San Antonio Spurs. Valanciunas parlayed a 9-for-12 effort from the field into a season-best 18-point effort, which when combined with his 12 rebounds, gave him his sixth double-double of the year. Memphis’ big man has been remarkably consistent through the early part of 2019-20, having scored in double figures in each of his last nine games, yet not exceeding the 18-point plateau. He draws a golden matchup Wednesday versus Charlotte, who is allowing the most DFS points per game to opposing centers.--Jesse Borek
