4 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas had a monster performance on Monday with 27 points and 20 rebounds in a 128-113 loss to Toronto. He impressed against his former team with 8-for-12 shooting from the field and an 11-for-12 effort at the foul line. Valanciunas also had three assists, one steal, and one block in the contest. Looks like Valanciunas worked on his scoring touch when he was out due to health and safety protocols, as he's scored 50 points in two games since his return. Valanciunas has the potential to go off in the next matchup as well, as the Raptors will take on the Hornets, who have a mediocre defensive record against opposing centers and who give up the fourth-most rebounds in the league to the position.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
