5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies big man Jonas Valanciunas picked up 2020 right where he left 2019 with a double-double on Thursday night. Valanciunas scored 18 points (7-for-12 from the field) to go along with 12 rebounds and two assists. It was his 18th double-double of the season, and he is now averaging 14.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game over 25.1 minutes. He is now a top-10 center in ESPN leagues and is a great source of points, rebounds and field-goal percentage, and he even chips in a few threes now and then. Valanciunas and the Grizzlies will finish the week with a back-to-back set against the Clippers and Suns over the weekend.--Euan Leith
