5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas took on the two-time reigning Defensive Player of the Year in Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert on Friday and came away with a 22-point, 17-rebound performance, marking his third straight double-double. After taking 17 shots his last time out, Valanciunas tied his season high again Friday, also adding three blocks and two assists. For the second straight game, he eclipsed the 30-minute plateau, which could be the key to unlocking his fantasy ceiling. Should he see a similar workload Sunday versus Minnesota, he could be in line for another dominant performance.--Jesse Borek
