7 years agoToronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas had a stellar game Monday against the Detroit Pistons. Valanciunas scored 25 points, going 11-for-13 from the floor, with nine boards. Coming into Monday, Valanciunas had been struggling, averaging in his previous three games just 9.7 points while shooting 43.3 percent from the floor. The next opponent for the Raptors and Valanciunas is the Miami Heat on Wednesday. The Heat and Raptors have a combined average pace of play of 100, which is just slightly over the league average of 97.4, so Valanciunas should get fewer chances than he did Monday.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
