6 years agoToronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas got the start with Serge Ibaka (knee) out and provided a solid line in the loss to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. JV scored 14 points on 6-for-12 shooting and added six rebounds with a block in 27 minutes of action. Valanciunas bounced back from a rough two-point game on Monday and if Ibaka misses more time, JV will continue to start with Greg Monroe getting the backup minutes to the Lithuanian big man.--Gianni Costantiello
