3 years agoGolden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga racked up a career-high 26 points on 9-for-15 shooting in Saturday's losing effort against Toronto, going 4-for-6 from three-point range. He notched one rebound and posted two assists and two steals but also had six turnovers in 36 minutes. The Congolese rookie made his first career start here after the Warriors rested a number of players. It was a great opportunity for the fringe players to step up and Kuminga impressed the most. Golden State will now go for a while without a back-to-back set, which will likely drop Kuminga back to the bench, but he could make noise again at some point during the season when head coach Steve Kerr decides to go with his bench players.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
