Jordan Clarkson Paces Cavs With 18-Point Outing
6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point/shooting guard Jordan Clarkson dropped a team-high 18 points off the bench during Saturday’s defeat at the hands of the Indiana Pacers. With Alec Burks no longer in the fold, Clarkson is back to having total shot-taking autonomy with the second unit. He finished 8-for-16 from the field, adding a pair of triples, while also dishing out six assists and snagging two boards. All 55 of Clarkson’s appearances this year have come off the bench, but that’s done him wonders, as he has recorded double-digit shot attempt in 28 of his last 29 games and is on pace to set a new career high in scoring at 16.8 points per contest.
