Jordan Clarkson Provides Spark Off The Bench In Win
4 years agoUtah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson lead his team in scoring during the 106-104 narrow victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday. The 28-year-old dropped 23 points on the night, going 8-for-17 from the field and 6-for-7 from the charity stripe. While he struggled from deep by making only one of his eight three-point attempts, he made amends by grabbing five boards, dishing out three dimes, and coming away with two steals. With Bojan Bogdanovic out for the remainder of the season due to a wrist injury, Clarkson will likely continue to have his number called often off the bench as the Jazz look to gain ground in the standings heading into the playoffs. Due to his stellar play in this one, his salary may dramatically increase on Saturday when Utah takes on the Oklahoma City Thunder.
