6 years agoWith the 12th overall pick in the 2018 MLB Amateur draft, the Toronto Blue Jays selected 18-year-old third baseman Jordan Groshans out of Magnolia High School as a senior. Standing at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, Groshans looks to be a balance between good defense and good power. On the scouting grades, Groshans ranks at a 50 hitting, 55 power, 50 running, 55 arm and 50 fielding. As an infielder, he will have lots of competition, competing in the system with top prospects Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette. He is committed to Kansas University for next season.--Caden Inaba
