Jordan Poole Explodes For Career-High Seven Threes

2 years agoGolden State Warriors guard Jordan Poole put together one of the best performances of his career in Wednesday's win over the Hornets. A popular breakout pick this offseason, Poole made good on those predictions against Charlotte, pouring in a season-high 31 points with a career-high seven triples. The 22-year-old was also a factor on the defensive end of the floor, swiping four steals while adding three rebounds and an assist. Poole has had some shaky shooting performances from three this year, though nights like this show the kind of upside he has when he's locked in. He'll get an equally good matchup on Friday against the Pelicans, who have allowed the sixth-most points per game this year.--Tim Capurso
