Jordan Poole Records First Career Double-Double Friday
3 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Jordan Poole notched the first double-double of his three-year career in Friday's loss to Atlanta, collecting 24 points and 10 assists across 39 minutes. Poole, alongside Klay Thompson (37 points), carried the Golden State offense, as the 22-year-old hoisted 13 three-point attempts, the third consecutive game that he has done so. Poole has now reeled off 12 straight outings of having reached the 20-point threshold, knocking down an average of 4.6 triples in that span, all while shooting 52.7% overall. Poole is an absolute must-roster season-long commodity while Stephen Curry (foot) remains sidelined, along with one of the higher ceiling DFS options due to his high-volume offensive production.
