Jordan Spieth Is Risky At Riviera
3 years agoAfter a T2 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am a couple weeks ago, Jordan Spieth looked primed for a big finish in Phoenix, but that didn't happen. Spieth made the cut, but finished T60. Spieth will now return to a place he has had an up-and-down history, which is Riviera Country Club. Spieth has two top-10 finishes in his career at Riviera, those came in 2015 and 2018. However, Spieth has finished outside the top-50 twice, and missed the cut twice as well, making Spieth a boom-or-bust option this week. In terms of his game, Spieth sits 110th on tour in strokes gained on approach, and 114th in strokes gained around the green. With those stats, and his high DFS price, Spieth is one to leave in the DFS lobby this week.
