6 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann had a solid outing against the New York Yankees on Friday night, allowing four runs (one earned) off three hits in six innings. He struck out six and walked just one. He actually had a no-hitter brewing up until the sixth inning, when a Tigers error opened the door for home run shots by Brett Gardner, Aaron Hicks, and Miguel Andujar. Zimmermann carries a 4.22 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and a 6-6 record into the final month or so of the fantasy baseball season and can be a serviceable asset when given a favorable matchup.--Kyle Ringstad - RotoBaller
